Camp usually starts right in the middle of winter. One by one, the kids start asking their Haven missionaries, "When are we goin' to Camp?" A nine-year old boy from the Worcester, MA Haven once announced to everyone, "I've already got my suitcase packed and under my bed." It was only February!

During the school year, children and teens in our after-school programs are able to "earn" their weeks at summer camp through participation in activities, memorizing Bible verses and good behavior. This ensures that every Haven child can afford to come to Camp Chilaven.

In order to offset the cost of bringing kids from the city out to summer camp, Camp Chialven relies on "Camperships" sent in by individuals, churches, organizations, clubs and businesses who want to provide camp free of charge to kids who need and deserve this special opportunity. Our goal this coming summer is to raise 300 Camperships. A Campership is $300 and may be mailed to our Main Office in Douglas, MA.
