ONGOING NEEDS...

... General Repairs at our Douglas and Worcester Havens - painting, general maintenance and minor construction [repairing sheetrock, hanging suspended ceilings, electrical repairs, updating plumbing, maintaining and repairing equipment and more], shampooing carpet, stripping and waxing tile floors, yardwork, etc.

... Opening and Closing Camp - Every May and June we spend 2-3 Saturdays fixing, cleaning, and setting up for our summer camping season. We rake leaves (lots of them!), clean off roofs, stain cabins, clear brush, wash mattresses, make minor repairs, do safety checks of the cabins, get the pool ready, etc. Then in August and September we pack everything up and winterize the camp.

... Cleaning and maintaining our Pond - This is an especially fun (or perhaps yucky!) job for youth groups and those who love adventure! Every spring we clean up the pond area and get it ready for lots of fun frogging, fishing and canoeing in the summer!

SPECIAL NEEDS...

... Special Projects - We have a list of "special projects" that are waiting for that "special person" or "special group" to do. Things such as rebuilding a cabin, repairing a stone wall, create an extensive walking path, prepare and pour a cement floor in our cellar, creating a ballfield and more! Contact the Main Office if you are interested in taking on a "special project."
